MEET CALEB MCEWEN
Caleb is the artistic director for the Brave New Workshop (BNW) theatre. He is also one of the most experienced improv performers in the country and an incredibly talented writer and producer. Since joining the BNW more than ten years ago, Caleb has written, directed, produced, and performed in more events than any other BNW employee. His comedic genius is undeniable and often overshadows his uncommon ability to build incredibly successful teams.
Drawing on his vast experience as a improviser, writer, and director, Caleb is an insightful trainer and speaker. Over the years, he has worked with a variety of people -- from mainstage actors to business leaders -- and is wonderfully unique in sharing how improvisational skills and behaviors can ignite creativity and teamwork.
As an oft-requested emcee and entertainer, Caleb has performed in Japan, Croatia, Italy, Greece, Malta, Canada, The Bahamas, and much of the United States. He has been on stage with presidents, senators, and former heads of the CIA. He has emceed events with everyone from LL Cool J to Randy Travis to Blondie, and has thrown knives for—and in some cases around—executives from some of the most influential companies in the world.
If you come from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, you may also recognize Caleb from his weekly segments on Fox 9, his radio appearances, or his recurring shows Adorable Danger and The Fortress of Attitude.
Caleb's many talents are further displayed as a member of the Danger Committee, an incredible three-man act that combines juggling, knife throwing, and spine tingling thrills with hilarious and dangerously funny comedy (http://www.thedangercommittee.com).
